Merry Christmas and Holiday Blessings

Merry Christmas and Holiday Blessings Everyone!

I could not let the year come to a close without sending festive greetings and thanks to all.  Card making is especially fun this time of year and I have certainly been creating and sending my share. The card posted here was made because I fell in love with the fun swirly tree stamp from Fun Stampers Journey.  I wanted something with depth without having to put on too many layers which can increase postage. Adding glitter pen color to the ornaments and stars and then using foam squares to pop up the focal image on the patterned paper gave it dimension without the weight. This is a great trick when reproducing and sending a large number of cards.

During November I represented Stamp To Cope at Simmons Elementary School in Versailles, KY for an Art Day. Kindergarten, first, and second graders worked with me on making holiday cards for their loved one.  We had a great time and the children were so excited to be able to get inky and creative.  After the event, many of the students took their new card making skills to the next level and made me Thank You notes!

While the Christmas themed cards were tons of fun, this season my real inspiration came when creating the invitations for our daughter's Christmas time wedding! Best Wishes Carly and Jason!
We at Stamp to Cope hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and blessed New Year!!
THANK YOU for a wonderful year of out reach, service, creativity, and love!

See you next year :)

  1. I love the philosophy behind Stamp to Cope. I scrapbooked my way through being a cancer caretaker while my three year old went through treatment. Now that he is gone, I cherish those pages. I saw your name as a sponsor for our elementary carnival and looked you up. I know there is a relation to one of our students. Then I see you all are in KY and recently visited a school in Versailles. I have a sister in law, niece and nephew in Versailles. Small world. I fight cancer through Andrews Superheroes Relay for Life.
